Symbols—conventional

Our culture uses symbols everyday. They're ubiquitous. We refer to them as "conventional" symbols.

Conventional symbols
• ring—love and marriage
• flag—nation and patriotism
• heart—love and romance
• yellow ribbon—homecoming
• owl—wisdom
• scepter—power and monarchy
